Creating the right messages, for the specific location and audience and delivering them at the exact time is a very specific skill. Replaying television advertising or throwing web content at a digital signage network is often not appropriate. Out-of-Home advertising and in-store digital signage networks condense product, time and location in a unique way that demands a unique approach to developing digital media content.

PDM provide best-in-market digital signage content through our subsidiary digital content agency, Fireback Digital. Fireback Digital advise and control the art direction to establish a look and feel consistent with our clients’ brand and product image. Visual graphics, motion graphics, live information feeds, controlled retailer templates, video, text messages and interactive capabilities are what gives digital signage visual impact. Whether animating poster or print campaigns, creating interactive programs or adding logos and subtitles, Fireback Digital will bring an understanding of consumer and brand dynamics to the creative process. Fireback Digital have created the most Out-of-Home Digital media content in Australia and have collected the most awards for doing so.

Content Planning and Programming
An Out-of-Home digital network does not necessarily need awhole new campaign, but existing content and campaign assets will more than likely need to be adapted, re-purposed and formatted to retain their impact in this digital media environment.
A digital signage network will only be successful if it responds to the needs of the customer. To do that, the system must have interesting, appropriate and relevant messaging. It must have a purpose and it must be of value.
Engaging a digital signage solution that fits the environment and communicates the brand effectively is critical. This requires knowledge and experience of what works and what does not.
Content can feature brand image spots, product information, promotions, community information, retailer information, entertainment and live news feeds. But it is critical to keep content relevant to the audience and the medium.
Our content programming team will consider the timing andpriority of messages, frequency of refresh, selection of specific areas for viewing and the inclusion of engaging interactive components when designing our client’s content programs.
Once the digital signage network is up and running, the emphasis shifts onto getting the right content delivered to the right screens at the right time of day and day of the week. Learn more about Acuity, our web-based media management system.
QR codes on the PDM Network A QR (or Quick Response) code is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code) common in Japan. QR (Quick Response) Codes add another new dimension to PDM's OOHD advertising. By simply flashing a mobile phone at one of the codes on the PDM screens, a consumer can be directly linked to the advertiser’s brand messages.
QR works by the consumer using a camera phone that has been equipped with the reader software, scanning the image of the QR Code causing the phone's browser to either launch and redirect to a programmed URL, text message, or phone number at no cost to the mobile phone user or the advertiser.
PDM is using this break-through technology on all their media networks including Wellbeing, Lifestyle and Home Electronics. PDM is the first OOHD media company in Australia to adopt QR Code, and offer QR Code stamping to content providers and advertisers.
